Note: It is ironic that most of the news articles over the last few months have been about parking. I’m car free and so parking is irrelevant to me personally and I can only shake my head sadly at how much energy and trauma people create around parking. Nevertheless, parking policy does strongly impact the livability of a place, and free storage of personal vehicles on the street seems to be the last bastion of the NIMBY worldview.
