It recognizes that abundant parking everywhere does not promote economic success, but in fact handicaps it. Several properties that have been repurposed from parking to higher uses are mentioned, and there are quotes from one of the largest developers in the city. The article recognizes that the success of midtown is in part due to the removal of parking minimums years ago.
